My name is Kayla, and my love for everything Disney started early. I had every Disney movie you could imagine when I was young. I quote and act out most of them. My first trip to Walt Disney World was in 9th grade and a majorette in my high school band. The band had been invited to perform in the Magic Kingdom parade at the time, and it was truly a magical experience. Thus, my love of Walt Disney World was born. My next trip to Walt Disney World Resort wouldn’t be until I was married, my son was 3, and I was 28 weeks pregnant with my daughter. That was truly a wonderful experience that sparked our love for Disney vacations.
I am a Navy spouse married to my wonderful husband, and we have two amazing children. Our vacations of choice are almost always Disney vacations! We have lived in Virginia, Maryland, and currently call Yokosuka, Japan, our home. While living here for the last three years, we have visited many places in Japan, including Tokyo Disney Resort and Universal Studios Japan. In September 2023, we will relocate to Florida within a few hours of Walt Disney World Resort!
Our favorite time of year is Halloween, and we LOVE attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. My children love that they can dress up and trick-or-treat around the park while visiting their favorite characters. At Epcot, we have attended the Flower and Garden Festival and the Food and Wine Festival, which are always favorites of ours.
